Terms and Conditions

By downloading, installing or using the Frugalicious app, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Frugalicious.

Frugalicious is a mobile application that helps users:

• Track and compare food nutrition and costs
• Create and manage recipes
• Set and monitor dietary goals
• Access nutritional information and recommendations

The service is provided "as is" and we reserve the right to modify features and functionality.

To use certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Providing accurate and up-to-date information
• Notifying us of any unauthorised access to your account

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

You agree not to use the service to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Upload harmful, offensive or inappropriate content
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the app
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
• Share false or misleading nutritional information
• Use the service for commercial purposes without permission

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Frugalicious offers premium subscription features. By subscribing:

• Payments are processed through your device's app store
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
• You can cancel at any time through your app store account
• Refunds are subject to the app store's refund policy
• Premium features are only available to active subscribers

Subscription prices may change with notice to existing subscribers.

All content in the app, including text, graphics, logos and software, is owned by Frugalicious or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

User-generated content (recipes, reviews and similar) remains yours, but you grant us a licence to use it in connection with our service.

You may not copy, modify or distribute our content without permission.

The nutritional information provided in Frugalicious is for informational purposes only and should not be considered medical advice.

• Data comes from various sources and may contain inaccuracies
• Always consult healthcare professionals for dietary decisions
• We are not liable for decisions made based on our information
• Individual nutritional needs vary significantly

Users with specific dietary requirements or health conditions should verify all information independently.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Frugalicious shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental or consequential damages
• Loss of data, profits or business opportunities
• Damages resulting from use of nutritional information
• Service interruptions or technical issues
• Actions of third-party service providers

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the past 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer protection legislation, including the Ontario Consumer Protection Act.

We strive to provide reliable service, but we do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Compatibility with all devices or operating systems
• Availability of all features at all times
• Accuracy of third-party data sources

We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue the service with reasonable notice.

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.

By using the service, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

Either party may terminate the service relationship:

• You may delete your account at any time
• We may terminate accounts for violations of these terms
• We may discontinue the service with reasonable notice
• Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately

Certain provisions of these terms survive termination.

We may modify these terms from time to time. When we do:

• We will notify users of significant changes
• Continued use constitutes acceptance of new terms
• The effective date will be updated
• Previous versions will no longer apply

We encourage users to review these terms periodically.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply in it, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You and we agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.

Any disputes will be resolved through:

• Good faith negotiation first
• Mediation or binding arbitration in Ontario if negotiation fails
• The Ontario Small Claims Court, where the claim falls within its limits
